We’ve always believed that activewear is about so much more than functionality.
Of course, comfort and practicality are important if you’re heading to the gym, a class or out for a run, but there’s also a psychology in play, when it comes to that phenomenon we like to call ‘gym ready’.
Understanding this vital ‘behind-the-seams’ input, was part of the reason we were so excited to partner with activewear brand COMBAT DOLLIES, for National Fitness Day.
For this particular collaboration, we wanted to niche down on the chain reaction of confidence, comfort and can-do, which begins with a great pair of leggings…and ends with movement, in any form!
We say ‘any form’, because the emphasis - on this occasion - was less on the virtues on working up a sweat, and more on ‘fitness’, the pseudonym! After all, ‘gym time’ for many, is something of a stage name for ‘me time’, and top of the ranks of excuses-to-be-alone, among others!
The layers to ‘fitness’ are many and varied, and with the incentives of regular movement often as rooted in the virtues of headspace, as they are in physical gains, it’s an angle not to be overlooked, especially in the bigger picture of fitness motivation.
