The merits of sleep are something we could easily wax poetic about until the sheep come home…and even more so on a day dedicated to the virtues of staying in bed!
By all accounts, today’s Stay In Bed Day observation was the excuse we’ve been waiting for, to bring sleep optimisation to the fore, with a little help from DEVON DUVETS - Purveyors of hand-crafted sustainable bedding!
In what is our second collaboration with Devon Duvets, it was fascinating to be reminded of the virtues of wool duvets, and especially through the lens of 2021’s sleep challenges!
While the focus of this particular article was on embracing the joy of the lie-in, we’d by lying (#sorrynotsorry) if we said it wasn’t also a slightly fluffy slide-in to the time-worn 7-hours-a-night advice, that we could all do with a little reminder of now and then!
The reality is, good quality sleep has never been more important (for our immune systems, and mental health at the very least.) To this end, today’s post is as much a testament to the health advantages of making our bed, as it is exercising the right to lie in it… for as long as the day will allow!
